Deacon Farrell

Dr. Deacon Farrell is a board-certified anesthesiologist and interventional spine specialist serving patients across Los Angeles and Beverly Hills. Known for a precise, minimally invasive approach, he focuses on regenerative medicine and advanced interventional pain management for complex spine and pelvic conditions, helping individuals return to function with fewer disruptions to daily life.

Dr. Farrell has led clinical teams in prominent pain and surgical centers throughout Southern California, including Cedars-Sinai Medical Center, Southern California Medical Center, Pacific Oaks, Azura Surgical Centers, and Wave Medical. He currently serves as Director of Interventional Pain Medicine at Pacific Oaks Medical and also leads anesthesiology services for the Southern California Hospitals Center. In his private practice, he provides comprehensive anesthesia care, image-guided spine interventions, tissue-regeneration therapies, and medical-legal consulting, including expert witness work for workers’ compensation and medical-legal cases.

Beyond direct patient care, Dr. Farrell is active in healthcare innovation and the responsible adoption of artificial intelligence in the operating room. He is North American Medical Director for Vitvio, supporting the integration of intraoperative AI tools that enhance surgical workflows and outcomes. He is also the co-founder of Orella, a patient-centered digital health platform designed to expand specialty access for underserved regions.

Dr. Farrell earned his medical degree from the National University of Ireland, completed anesthesiology residency training through NYU Langone and SUNY Downstate, and pursued additional fellowship training at Cedars-Sinai in regenerative medicine, pain medicine, and regional ultrasound anesthesia.
